Had hardwood flooring installed and one of our contractors scratched it while moving some furniture. Contacted customer service, mind you that was a difficult task in itself, took about a month for someone to respond about getting the floor fixed.

They had us sign a contract stating that the damage was our fault and requested $250.00 before they would send someone out to assess the damage and to give us a quote on the repair. A month went by and still haven't heard from customer service. Called and they finally made an appointment to send someone out. The installer came out and checked out the floor and said ti can be repaired.

Another month goes by and still haven't heard from customer service on a quote for the repair. Sent email, and they finally called stating that it would be $879.00 plus the $250.00 deposit to fix 4 floor boards over the $25,000 we spent on the flooring. Mind you we have the extra flooring for the repair, and they are trying to screw us over.

Will never do business with these people again. Spend the extra money and go to someone local.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

National Floors Direct Pros: Two installers were the only silver lining.

National Floors Direct Cons: Customer service is a nightmare.
